Linvoy Primus endorses Goal50
Former pro-footballer Linvoy Primus has recently endorsed Goal50. He says, 'I admire the heart of Goal50 using sport to engage & transform lives of young people. Equipping leaders who know the culture is essential for positive change & I believe the time and effort put in by Goal50 will allow this to happen.
Linvoy played 487 career games, mostly for Portsmouth FC in a career which spanned 17 years. He became a fans favourite at Portsmouth and partnered England international, Sol Campbell at the centre of the defence.
In 2002 after becoming a Christian, he co-founded the charity, Faith and Football. Talking about his Christian faith, Linvoy records, "I know that, win, lose or draw, life will still carry on," he said. "I do my job properly and to the best of my ability because God wouldn't want me to misuse the gift he has given me."
He retired from football in 2009 and became on ambassador for the Portsmouth club.
